Ovaj televizijski film je urađen na osnovu dve priče tvorca serijala The Twilight Zone, Roda Serlinga, koje su pronađene nakon njegove smrti.
Prvu, kraću priču (The Theater) proširio je i adaptirao Richard Matheson. U njoj glume Amy Irving i Gary Cole, a radnja se odvija u bioskopu, gde devojka umesto filma koji se prikazuje (His Girl Friday) vidi scene iz vlastitog života.
Dužu priču (Where the Dead Are), s Patrickom Berginom i Jackom Palanceom, u celosti je napisao Serling. Ona se razvija oko zagonetne prošlosti pacijenta kog pred svojim studentima operiše profesor s Bostonskog univerziteta.
