Our team, a diverse group representing 20 different nationalities stemming across 5 continents, works together daily on the optimization of our platforms. It’s the team that gives Yalwa its unique atmosphere. With multiple disciplines, from technical to creative, coupled with a breadth of backgrounds, we utilize these different ways of thinking to our advantage, both when solving problems and coming up with new ideas. Our different departments work closely together to grow and move our platforms forward; but don’t think the team spirit stops after the job is done: We also enjoy company events like our Summer Party in July or our Tree Trimming Party at Christmas, and we often cook together, race Go-Karts or even spend an evening just playing video games!

The Communications team uses various channels of communication to convert on our users’ interest. Whether it’s turning a browser into a poster or getting a business to register an account with us, it’s our job to find ways to make users’ experiences on our site both rewarding for them and for us.
In Country Management, it’s our job to increase our platforms’ success in our respective countries. We organize strategic partnerships, handle Search Engine Optimization, and adapt our platforms based on our countries’ needs and conditions in order to boost traffic and content.
In Customer Support we are responsible for ensuring the quality of our site’s content. We’re also here to help our users with any questions they might have or problems they might encounter when using our products. We then communicate this feedback to our other departments.
In HR we seek to find and keep the best employees possible. Our duties include recruitment, talent management, and the facilitation of employee development with the Yalwa Academy. We also do our best to make Yalwa a great place to work, like organizing our team events.
As part of the Product team, we aim to create the best user experience possible by listening to our users, constantly testing our sites, analysing results, keeping up with the newest trends, and thinking outside the box to solve problems and create new features.
As web developers, It’s our job to ensure our platforms run smoothly. We’re constantly developing products, implementing new features, and improving on what already exists with our users in mind.
